When you work with Courtney at West Texas TheraPLAY, what you get is unlike the traditional approach to physical therapy. I focus on meeting the child and parent where they are - physically and developmentally. Sessions are typically conducted at We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym, but home, school, and community sessions are available as well. We focus on the abilities your child has and the goals you have for them, then work together to get them to their highest physical potential. Session frequency can be anywhere from once monthly to twice per week... but this is not the typically "three times per week for 8 weeks" you might have experienced if you've had PT elsewhere. I focus on educating and enabling the parents to help their child achieve any and every goal inside and outside of PT sessions. This unique approach is less stressful to the parent and child and also keeps parents in the most control of their child's development.
